How long have you had your oldest brush/comb?
I have a paddle brush that has lasted for 9.5 years and I am literally going to be sad when it kicks the bucket..

I voted cheese. I've been using my favourite wide-tooth comb for about 3-4 years but my mum got it about 20 years ago. It's a simple plastic comb, she bought Schauma shampoo and it was an extra.

my wide toothed shower comb and my Mason Pearson mixed bristle brush are both about 8 years old and I still use them daily... neither needs to be replaced anytime soon

My sisters still use brushes when we bought my mother combed small. Must be over 15 years, and are of such rounds to straighten hair.

But a few months before signing up for LHC, peinde I bought a wide-tooth wood, and only use that. It greatly reduces hair loss.

I have a comb that is nearly 20 years old. The handle broke off earlier this year, but I still use it, because I can't find a comb that feels as good as that one. It's handy for travelling with as well :)

I have a Victorian boar bristle brush that I use.
It's fabulous.

My "Maria" wide tooth faux tortoiseshell comb lasted 15 years.

In 1970 I purchased 3 Goody pure boar bristle brushes. One lasted 10 years, another lasted 12 years, and I'm still using the last one now. I sure wish I'd purchased more of them!

My wonderful, ancient paddle brush finally died this summer. It was at least 8, and maybe more than that. I'm not sure exactly how old it was.

My paddle brush is about 10yrs old. I never really used it that often and probably wont in the future, as I use a wooden comb. :)

I have a 15 year old Mason Pearson brush that survived being run over in a 70 miles per hour accident on a highway. I am forever loyal to Mason Pearson!

I have a wide-tooth comb with daisies on it that I bought when I was about 21. Still going strong! Go-go daisy comb!

I use a tangle teezer now, and threw out my old brush, which would have been 3-4 years old.
