I was reading an old thread about this oil and somewhere was warned not to buy it if it's yellow as it might be adulterated.
So... What colour should it be ?

I have a bottle that I believe to be pure, and it is about the same color and transparency as canola oil. It is not clear like coconut, it is a bit yellowish like most oils.

I use a brand called Fushi, which is 100% pure organic camellia oil, and it's a light golden color. I think it's fine as long as the color is a very light yellow, and not dark. :)

what do you guys get from camellia oil?, do you use it like argan oil to finish up a hair style and prevent frizzy hair?, how heavy is it?

Yep, from what I've seen it's usually yellowish, light yellow.

Hey, I just checked back on this thread. :) Personally, I think camellia oil is quite light, so I usually use a small amount on my hair when dry if it's too frizzy. I sometimes use it in my pre-wash oiling (I love the smell!) but it's especially great post-wash, for me. On a side-note, argan oil is actually better as a pre-wash treatment on my hair, but whatever works! :D
