Static Hair

Hello everyone! Winter is my favorite time of the year, but my hair seems to hate it!! I have the dreaded winter static hair and I don't know how to get rid of it! Everytime I smooth my hair down, it just ends up standing up straight and going in every direction. I'm going to trying oiling tonight, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Using oil or conditioner as a leave in should help, and keeping your hair up, so it doesn't rub against your clothes if they happen to be the sort of material that gets static.

I rub a dryer sheet through my hair and static is gone.
