I have read about biotin being recommended as an good supplement for hair growth several times on this forum. I prefer to get nutrients from food than from supplements, so I started this thread so that those who are interested can compile information about food sources of biotin.
I'll start by saying that egg yolks are a very rich source of biotin :). It seems that eggs are good for your hair both externally AND internally. Just make sure to cook your egg whites, because raw egg whites contain an enzyme that makes the biotin unusable.
