What do you think of this..?

I was trying to think of ways to protect my hair from the winter... and I thought of making a bun, then wrapping it with a scarf. After a few failed attempts I managed to get it so it held properly, what do you think of it? Does it look okay? I like the way it looks but just wondered what other people thought. The hair sticks aren't necessary, just for decoration. ^_^

There's a sock bun hiding under there by the way!
I'm not sure if this has been done here before but it probably has.

I've done that with a bandana at the beach, but never thought of doing it with a nice scarf...thanks for the great idea!!

I really like the look and I've actually seen it before (minus the sticks). A friend of mine wraps her dreads like this sometimes.

I love it! Sometimes I wrap a scarf around my bun to protect it while sleeping but I've never worn it like that during the day. I don't know why. :p

Very pretty! That's a lovely scarf, the pattern and style work so well with this. Did it get heavy over time? It looks like a lot of fabric, but it may be deceptive, especially as you say there's a sock bun under there.
