The background color on a post is #FFFFFF.

Does anyone know what the number is for the background of the Quote Box that appears in a post when we quote someone in our reply?

or

The background color of the box top of the web page on the right, where it says:
Welcome, ladiosaRosa (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/member.php?u=4701).
You last visited: Today at 06:09 PM Private Messages (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/private.php): Unread 0, Total 14.

or

the background color of the 'Last Post' and 'Views' columns on the page that lists all the posts of one particular forum?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Sorry I'm so inarticulate.

Here's a good site to look at colors you could use. Complete HTML True Color Chart (http://www.immigration-usa.com/html_colors.html) All colors are given a six digit hexidecimal (letter & number combo) code. For example, white is FFFFFF and black is 000000. There are millions of colors, more than on the page I listed, but those are the main ones. To see the hexidecimal code for others you would need a good imaging program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.

Oh, thank you for this, Cinnamon Hair. I was there once a while ago and forgot about it. I'm gonna check it out now. :flowers:

Yeaaaahhh! I just went and put that #EDEDED into my Profile page ad it's just what I wanted! Easier on the eyes than bright white.

Now I'm happy but with that link Cinnamon Hair gave me, I envision frequent customizing to my Profile.

I'm easy, huh?

What I find very useful is the add-in colorzilla in Firefox. That makes it possible to see the color #s for all the colors you see on screen.

For me the white background doesn't show as FFFFFF but F5F5FF.
