Over the weekend I looked in a few stores while shopping looking for the plain aloe and cannot find it! Even the clear gels that I did find had alcohol in the ingredient list.
Am I going to need to look at a health food store for this or does the stuff you all use have alcohol?

I use it as a friz control/curl definer. I mix 50/50 water and aloe gel in a small spray bottle and use as needed. I think it makes my hair softer.

LOL! Walmart- the one place I haven't checked yet. I think that was the same stuff I used a million years ago when I had a perm and didn't like using gels or mousse. The bottle looks very familiar.
I will check there- thanks!!

After I shower, I put a leave in conditioner in my hair and comb with wide tooth comb. Then I use about a dime size of this gel, squish it in my hands and fingers and then run through the ends and scrunch up my curls. Then I lightly run whatever is left from crown to tips to avoid crunchy curls.

I got alcohol-free clear aloe vera gel from Walgreens. It has other ingredients (stabilizers I guess) but no alcohol or pain relievers.

Trader Joe's has good alcohol-free AVG. And it's less evil than WM.
