I hope everyone is having a great Christmas season so far!
I was relieved to hear that I wasn't the only one having trouble
accessing the LHC yesterday, and I'm glad the problem has been fixed!

A few days ago I planned on making just a single French braid "hairband" with a braided bun,
but instead I made French braids all the way down. In place of a bun, I braided all the ends together into one regular braid.
Then I folded that up, and wrapped the end around the base of my braid a few times to make a "bun." I held everything in place
with an octopus hair clip. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's how it all turned out:

I noticed my braids have more of a swirl look to them, rather than
being straight across from one side to the other. Funny how that works out...
