alternative use of a straightening iron:)

Since i have banned heatstyling on my hair i have started using my flatiron to other things. I was thinking what a shame that my sparkly pink and pretty iron is lying and collecting dust. So i have started using it for quick ironing collars on shirts and ribbons because then i dont need to drag out the old clothing iron (is this even a word) and the ironing is so quick and easy and only takes a minute :)

What are you using your retired flatiron to??

I used to do that too!

But having it around was too tempting so I gave it away.

I use it for ribbons sometime, but now thinking to give it away.

I use it for wrinkled skirt hems sometimes. Works like a charm!

I use mine on fabric now, too. When I stopped heat styling, my flatiron went straight to Craft Area 51. My blowfryer is still around in case of frozen pipes or just in case someone needs to borrow it.
