Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knew what happens to a hair that is pulled completely out of your scalp in relation to it's current phase of growth it's in?? I did some research when I decided to stop plucking my eyebrows and found that they grow back faster when plucked because it starts the anagen phase all over again once it is completely removed. If you were to shave or trim instead of plucking out by the root it would not affect the growth phase and would therefore take longer to grow to full length again (because of the resting telogen phase and no active growth during this time). Do the hairs of the scalp start the process over again or is it more complicated?? I know I am weird but the science of hair growth is very fascinating to me.
