1 year anniversary with pictures :)

I can't believe it's been one year since I found this site. I don't get to post much now but I'm still a lurker who loves looking at all the great hair :D

I found this site in November 2010 ( so technically these pictures are a month late, sorry) and I started growing it ...Then in January 2011 I had about 4 inches cut off for a "fresh start" to the new year, then I had another small trim in Feb. 2011 and a dusting in August... then I pretty much left it alone.

so here is my progress....:D

Thanks for all the great tips! Now that I'm working I have to do a little more to my hair than usual. So I am trying my hardest to keep it healthy! I can't wait till next year to see my progress...Tailbone here I come.:D

Thanks for all the nice comments. When I started back to work I had a brief phase of wanting to cut my hair off into a pixie again, I'm glad I waited that phase out!! :D I would have regreted it.

I have to do more to my hair now that I'm working, but I'm trying my best to keep it healthy and not use much heat... I do miss being able to just oil my hair and leave it in all day :)

Really lovely! What strikes me is you have no breakage/frizzies on the top! Just long thick healthy looking! I have fine hair that breaks easily so I doubt I'll ever get hair that looks this great!

Thank you but it's not virgin hair :) I wish it was!... my natural hair is lighter (more of a reddish/auburn-ish/ brown mix). I use a dark wash or semi/vegetable dye to get a darker color. I changed how I cared for it, but I'm still dying it...probably always will to keep it the color I want. :D
