So in just a few weeks its 2012, and I thought that if any of you are planning on doing any hair resolutions for 2012 we could share them in this thread.

My hair resolutions are:

1. Join hairstyle of the month thread, and learn at least one new hairstyle every month, and then use them.

2. Keep microtrimming my ends every few months to keep thickening up the ends.

3. Start using cassia regularly (i have only used it once in a while, but really like it) to get the strengthening benefits from it.

4. Try to reach hip before the end of the year.

5. Have fun with my hair!

What about you? :flower:

1. Only trim every 6 months and be sure to take care enough in between so that I don't need trims more often.

2. No measuring until March 2012.

3. Learn new updos to protect my ends.

4. All of my hair to waist unstretched by the end of the year.

I don't want to trim in 2012 if I can get away with it. We'll see if my ends get too split though.

1. Ignore my hair as much as possible.

2. No new hair experiments.

3. Hit bsl by my birthday at the end of June.

4. Get rid of the rest of my layers by micro-trimming every couple of months to give me nice thick ends by the end of 2012.

2. S&D more frequently.
3. Stretch washes to 10 days, not just 7.
4. Ignore my hair.
5. Not stress out so much.

1. Wash my hair 1x with the Ayurvedic Herb shampoo bar (my hair does best when I do this)
2. Do a deep treatment weekly (henna, clarify, mud mask, smt)
3. Wear hair up without a single elastic
4. Dust every 3 months

- Reach my goal length (50") till the end of spring.
- After that trim monthly and maintain my length to help the ends thicken up.
- Enjoy my hair. :D

- Keep growing out those natural roots and don't be distracted by the siren calls of bleach/highlights/boxed dyes
- Wear it up more often than not as it tangles easily
- Keep trimming the bleach damage out
- Hopefully have healthy (er) hair past BSL by the end of 2012
- Take time to pamper myself and not obsess over this never-ending shed due to depression/stress

- Hopefully, I can cut out all or most of my dyed hair. Since this will consume pretty much all length I'll get, this is the only definite goal I'm setting for myself. Better to have shorter, healthy hair, than a bunch of dye-damaged hair, IMO.

Learn how to make new buns/updos.
Seriously. My hair is waist length, so I definitely have enough of it for most updos, but I am absolutely hopeless :S A basic cinnamon bun is the best I can come up with, and it's normally fairly messy too!
I'll start practicing for it tomorrow actually, seeing how I have 3 weeks off from work for Xmas.
