I did a fair bit of trimming this spring and summer in order to get rid of the dye damage, so I have gained length rather slowly this year. But now I've achieved tailbone length, and am on my way to classic! And my ends are even in quite decent condition!:D

Thank you all! For those of you who are curious about my hair color, I can inform you that I use lawsonia inermis, AKA henna, which does not damage the hair at all. My original color is dark blonde. :D

How do you keep the color all the same? Do you just do the roots and not re-henna the whole length?

For those of you who have asked about my hair color - as I mentioned, I use henna. These days I use full strength henna on my roots and a gloss on the length. I let the henna sit on my hair for a long time, and it really loves and sucks up the lawsone very well, so I think I am quite near saturation. :)

:D Love it! makes me think even harder about slowly trying to thicken my hemline, but I am SO attached to my length. If I go there at all, it'll be with CinnamonHair's method of micro-trimming.

Oh, and I agree about the celebratory toy, you should get something with a aqua coloured stone...(I just had one of my "feelings" about it..for some reason you need it. Maybe start looking into stones for their health properties?)
