A messy bun for super-long hair (pictures :-)

I hope everyone here on the LHC is having a wonderful holiday season so far!





Last night I was on the internet looking at different hairstyle pictures, and I came across a great hair-do blog "Do's to Choose." I learned how to do this version of the messy bun here, and what the lady says is true~ it really does last all day! Here is the link:

I added a head-band style French braid, mainly to hold back some bangs that I'm growing out:

P.S. My dress was all colors of the rainbow, that's why I used such a variation of hair clips! :)

@HairStickler, I made loops up to a point, when the remaining sections were about shoulder-blade level.
Then I wrapped that remaining hair around the base of my messy bun.


@vanity_acefake, Yes, isn't it funny to live in the tropics yet sing Christmas carols about snow and frost, etc. :D

at first I noticed all the hairtoys and thought that it was a little strange, BUT with the wider angled shots it revealed the beauty of this hairdo. I absolutely love it on you!!! I think it's now one of my new favorites of yours.
I'm glad it stayed all day because that is the difference between a keeper hairdo and a try it once hairdo.

I live in So. California and I agree that singing about frost and snow can really seem odd at times, but I still love singing about chestnuts roasting over an open fire!! Have a very Merry Christmas season!!! (I've already started my holiday gift baking!!!)

Aww, thanks! Yes, I guess growing up in the islands has brought out my love for bright colors! My favorite is magenta pink, but I've never been able to pull that off with my hair color :p





And to you all who said this look is definitely not messy, I imagine you're right ;) My hair has definitely looked much messier, but usually when that wasn't the look I was aiming for!
