So I recently discovered the magical sock bun curls! (Amaazzinngggg!) But I have two problems. Number 1. It doesn't really stay in my hair well, the curls fall out, so I have to use hair spray. Which leads me to problem number two. Whenever I curl my hair (Idk if it's the hair spray, or the curls!) my hair turns into a tangled NEST. :( Like just a massive nest of tangles and bleecckk. Any help? :)

Try to use some styling product while your hair is damp, not the hairspray. Wait until your hair is completely dry :)

Skip the hairspray. Its purpose is to make hairs stick together, which is why you're getting tangles. If you want the curls to hold, try working some gel through your damp hair before you put it in the sock bun.

I second the gel suggestion...

But a lot of the tangles are from the curls too. It's best to just leave it alone, no finger-combing or brushing... don't expect to run your fingers through it effortlessly. especially if there's any sort of "hold" product in it.
