3 year anniversary (pic heavy)

Hi everyone

I've decided to post my anniversary thread a little earlier. Things will be getting a little hetic so internet/LHC time will be less.

I joined LHC three years on Christmas day

Here is my first hair picture

December 28th 2008. My hair was 31" and fairytaling.
My hair routine here was shampoo bars and being sulfate/cone free.

My hair was very damaged from past abuse. My hair damage was traveling up fast. I decided before letting it get any higher. I would cut off all the damage.

So on June 2009
I cut my TBL all the way to APL cutting off 14"

This year I decided my scalp needed sulfates to be clean and I needed cones to help my hair look/ feel better.

This picture taken in Jan 2011 was an experiment to find if my hair looked better if I changed my routine of being cone free. I liked the results from using cones and sulfates.

I decided to approach a very simple routine of S&C 2 x week with sulfates and cones and using coney detanglers. I also invested in a Tangle teezer and stopped using combs.

I also re - cut back to BSL in June 2011

My hair now at hip length 29" (mind the frizz :o my hair hates winter)

I at times really hate being a wavy/curly it's a constant battle of frizz. I've always wanted 1a-1c straighter hair.
