That's so strange, because I can Dutch braid all day long, but have never managed a single, decent looking French braid! I think it's something to do with the Dutch braid being more secure...

They look really cute and like many others, this is one of my go-t styles too!

Yes, those are dutch braids (also and more correctly known as "underhand projected"), and they look great. I love two braids also. It's a very comfortable and out-of-my-way style.

P.S: my signature picture is a french braid. See the difference?

They're so cute! :) I love this style, but it takes me forever to do two French braids, and I haven't managed to get the hang of Dutch braids yet, so I've only done it a few times. I bet you will have lovely braid waves when you take them out. :)

Yay! When I was in high school, I was captain of my dance team, and I often spent most Friday afternoons double french braiding all of my girls' hair! It's such a cute look! :)
