Gotta love summer...

So, all summer I've been having this terrible problem with the very top layer of my hair frizzing like mad. The rest is straight and soft, but all over there's this corona of kinky, freaking-out hairs, and it looks terrible. I don't usually get frizzies, even in super-high humidity like it's been lately; but then again this is the first year my hair's been this long and all one length (basically), and I've switched to CO, too, so maybe that's why. (I imagine putting it up might help too, but I can't seem to make updos work yet. One thing at a time, I guess.)

I just wanted to post to say that I've tried misting, leave-ins, gels, etc etc etc, and the only thing that can tame this mini-layer of frizzies is...my BBB. They come back not long after I tame them (sigh), but the BBB does take them out more reliably than anything else, bar none.

Of course, other suggestions would be fine, too!

Thanks!

My hairs wavier than yours but I find a little AVG on freshly washed hair, just the canopy really helps with the frizzies. I get them all year round and this really helps.

Hope it helps you the same.

I haven't found a way to keep my hair from frizzing when I wear it down. The only way I can keep it looking silky is to wear it up all the time. I really like wearing it down sometimes, but if I do, I have to carry a BBB and coconut oil everywhere I go.

Can't wait for summer to be over, lol...
