I need help! I am moving in a month and will be doing a keratin treatment before I leave. I want to start buying my own pure keratin and doing it at home and wanted to hear pros and cons of those of you who have done or still do this. :)

I have had keratin treatments before (Coppola brand) and I loved my hair afterwards. It seemed to last a long time too--6ish months. The only problem was once it wore off, I think my hair may have been even frizzier than before, but I didn't take photos so I can't be sure if I just felt like it was frizzier since it was so smooth for a long time. Right now I am trying to minimize chemicals, so I am keratin free. Plus my hair is a little thin at the ends right now and the frizz makes me look like I have more volume. My hairdresser told me she thinks the keratin reduces breakage because it coats the hair and makes it more slippery. Anyone else have experience with this?
