I just had to share this because it's so beautiful and it shows that my mum really does listen and knows my taste very well! She got this for me as an early birthday present. It's made by Alchemy Gothic and the dragon is real pewter. I love it so much! :happydance:

There really is nothing better than a gift - no matter the size - that says the giver not only cares but has been paying enough attention to know specifically what would make you happy.

Since you ask ;) Looking at this I think it's possibly a little bit too long but I still love the way it looks and it wouldn't be too much of a job to shorten slightly if necessary

AHH SO CUTE! The awesomeness of the dragon aside, even the pattern on the stick is really neat!

I wish I had enough posts to see pictures - is that how it works? I'm dreaming of a hair-toy related Christmas, but any hair-related gifts I get will be from myself. Congrats on the gift!

Wow it looks great in your hair. How long is it? If it is wood it shouldn't be too hard to shorten. Just cut, file, sand, and paint. Lovely.

It's gorgeous! But if you get a chance, it's probably best to shorten it. At that length, it could be a hazard!

The useable length is just under 8 inches, with the dragon it's closer to 10 inches - much longer than my other sticks! I'm pretty sure it is wood though. I'll practice on a wooden chopstick first to minimise the possibility of damaging it.

Thanks once again for the nice comments! :blossom:
