Here's the result, which I'm happy with:

Here's the mark left by the elastic band under my fringe!

It's a good thing I hadn't done this for a special event....and sometimes I am so pleased to have a fringe!

Ooh! Interesting.... I'll have to give this a try tonight, I'm always looking for a new way to add texture to my hair. Man, I lolled at the elastic line! Unfortunately, I don't have a fringe... but I'll be using a very soft hair band, so hopefully that won't be an issue.

I'd love to see others try this with different techniques! I'll be taking large sections and twisting them first to keep it more contained and lessen possible tangles.
I'll take pics if it comes out well. :)

I have used this method before, and I wasn't very happy with the results. It made my hair wavy rather than curly and it tangled my hair up like crazy. I really like the bandana curling method though. :D

I watched the video and went to set my hair like this, got 1/4 of the way done, ran out of headband, took it down to reveal a tangled mess. The girl in the video says she has incredibly thick hair, i wonder what that makes mine. . . cause it sure as heck didn't work with my mess of hair! Also, i wonder if there is a way to do this with long hair without so much tangling and running out of room? I'll bet the results would be pretty then.
