Title says it all.

I was watching Chopped with my husband tonight, and while the chefs were waiting for the judges to cut someone after the appetizer round, the camera panned to a shot of them from the back and I caught a fleeting glimpse of their hair. I only saw it for maybe a second, but I blurted out "Oooh, look, she's wearing a French twist with a Ficcare clip!"
My husband stared at me in confusion, so I had to explain what it means. He gave me a long look and said "Wow... maybe you should take a break from the hair boards for a bit?"

I thought it was hilarious, but maybe I'll be keeping my hair revelations to myself in the future. Has anyone else ever had an experience like this?

Ahhaa, I was at Grad Night, and we were heading back to the buses when it was all over. I was walking with DBF, and I see this girl a bit ways in front of us, and I get all excited and say, "Oh look, she is wearing a flexi-8! The only one I've seen in real life!" DBF proceeds to say, "Riiiiight....". :D!

Since it's started to get colder and people are wearing scarves more it's an almost daily occurrence for me to look at someone from a distance and think 'wow their hair is really long..... oh its a scarf'. Yeah, I think I probably have been here too long

Oh yes, I have seen that same ficcare on Chopped. I have been waiting to see which episode they have lifted that clip from. I haven't seen it yet and we have been faithfully recording all of the episodes. My hubby loves that show.

I am glad I am not the only one that was thinking about that hair clip rofl.

Sort of similar, this summer my family visited friends in another state, the mother's hair was getting longer and I said to Grace that maybe we should get her a flexi8...but then I noticed that she was actually wearing one! Never mind, she already knows about them. :)

Simply put, it's a clip made by Ficcare (http://ficcare.com/Categories.aspx?id=1). When people refer to them here just as a Ficcare, they usually mean the Ficcare Maximas clip (http://ficcare.com/Collections.aspx?catId=1). Yep! I was telling my husband about one of my friends and her cat, and my husband stopped me to ask "Your friend in real life or on the hair board? Hair board right." Oh course he was right... lol
