View Full Version : My very first successful fully-rolled Sock Bun!

Hooray! I finally managed to get all the layers in there :D It has been up for the whole day (no pins, just the one elastic), so it is a little fuzzy, but it is still there!

It looks much bigger from the back than from the side.

It is absolutely gorgeous! And I love your hair color, it's so beautiful and your hair is nice and shiny!

Thank you so much. I was so proud of myself :)

However, I don't think I will use that method to curl my hair because of the crease from the elastic for the ponytail. I did try, later that night, rolling it most of the way down and then removing the elastic before finishing the rolling, but it wasn't stable at all. Maybe using a scrunchie? I will have to try it that way.

Anyway, I was pretty happy with the sock bun and just amazed that I could get all the layers in there. Not as big and gorgeous as Ultrabella's, but still much nicer than I expected.

Congratulations! I know how this feels as I did my first sock bun just last week! I loved it, my bun was so big and shiny and I kept looking at it >.<

I should make myself a sock bun one of these days (they NEVER get as nice and even as yours, though) but I lost both my sock-roll-thingies. :p
