My current length picture...

Well, I posted a (downright terrible) picture of my hair on my intro thread, but today I finally got around to taking a better one, and also a better measurement. Near as I can tell, the very longest tip of my hair is about at 42". Those tips frustrate me - I have split ends and no matter how I comb they look matted and straggly. Time to start search & destroy!

It's actually a really pleasant surprise to see my hair from the back! :happydance:When people ask how long my hair is, I've been telling them it's about up to my hips. But it's longer than that now! What would you call this length?

As for matted, nasty ends.. mine get that way if I don't clarify them regularly. In the picture though, they look great. It would be a shame to snip em if you don't have too!

Thanks! :) My hair has never been shorter than about BSL, but I stopped trimming it about 2 years ago. I had bangs then, maybe 3" long - they don't show up on the picture but they are up to somewhere between APL and BSL.

I wash my hair every second day usually, just shampoo and conditioner (I have sensitive skin and use fragrance free) but I'm going to start the conditioner-shampoo-conditioner suggestion I saw on here, because my hair gets pretty dry in winter. Nearly always I wear it up in a bun under my veil:
