Hi! I have naturally straight/very slight wavy hair and I recently tried curling it without heat by using twist ties (lol..weird I know). I was reading a thread about rag curls but didn't have rags at that moment so I improvised.. I just wanted to share what it looked like since I thought it turned out well. :D

That looks really gorgeous. Can you give details as to how you achieved this look?

Thanks everyone! =D

I basically just used the rag curl technique (you can just google it and there are plenty of tutorials) but instead of rags I used the twist ties they put on cables/wires to hold them together.

The tutorials online tend to have small tight curls, probably because they used smaller sections of hair and made small loops where as I took 1.5-2 inch sections of hair and wrapped it around 2 fingers and then slipped the twist tie through to tie it into a loop. Hopefully people will understand what I'm trying to say.. =/
