I have long brunette hair...i am 52 and have some gray on top...i have been using Naturl Instincts semi-permanent color Nutmeg to color the gray. I also tried a permanent dark brown color also...it covers the gray but when it starts to fade it's this nasty red/gold brassy color and then parts of it are still dark....i only do the roots and then comb it thru the rest the last five minutes of coloring any ideas of any other way to cover the gray? i think i'd as soon be gray as this color any help would be appreciated
