Hello everyone! :)

For a long time now I've always thought my hair was a 2c. Recently, someone over at NaturallyCurly.com said they thought it was more of a 3a, so I changed my classification here to a 2c/3a.

So that got me thinking, do you classify your hair by what the majority of it is? Do you classify hair based on your usual styling routine, or in what state?

P.S, opinions welcome- have a look at my hair in these pictures (Click! (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=9049&pictureid=118211)Click! (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=9049&pictureid=118214)) and tell me what you think! Thanks in advance :D

I'd have to see your hair in non-styled format to tell. Take a proper hair typing picture (Wash, rinse gently and don't touch at all. Once dry take photos.) and you'll get a more accurate typing. :)

Yup just as lostsoule77 said. No styling at all to see your true hair type.

Right, I'll do that next time I have a few hours free. I think it's very similar, just a little more frizzy- I add a bit of gel to cope with that. :)
