I'm having a hard time understanding exactly where is what in terms of lengths... I looked around at the articles, but couldn't find one on it. Same with a thread on it. I guessed at most of these...
APL -????
BSL- bra strap length?
MBL- mid-back length?
WL- waist length?
Hip - pretty self explanatory
BCL- ??
TB - tailbone?
Classic- longer than tailbone/floor length?

APL -???? Arm Pit Length
BSL- bra strap length? Yup
MBL- mid-back length? Sounds good!
WL- waist length? Think so
Hip - pretty self explanatory
BCL- ?? I saw someone say Butt Cheek Length haha
TB - tailbone? Yes
Classic- longer than tailbone/floor length? Classic is below your butt, I think.
Here's a helpful link - Terms and Abbreviations (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=10)

Actually, if you go to articles and look at the right hand side there is a link called "LHC Terms and Abbreviations" and there is also a stickied thread in this forum called "Useful Links - all you need to know!" That links to it as well. :flower:
APL -Arm pit length
BSL- bra strap length
MBL- mid-back length
WL- waist length
Hip - pretty self explanatory
BCL- butt crack length
TB - tailbone
Classic- where the butt and thigh meet
ETA: It seems Dogmatix beat me to it. :)
ETAETA: It seems the article is missing some of those abbreviations. :hmm:

This is great information. Mine is a little past waist now. I am debating how long I want to continue growing. I really want waist length virgin hair, but I'll wait to trim again until I am at least 3 inches past waist. I am thinking that waist may be where I want to stay. Longer than that it seems like it might be more work than this lazybones is willing to do.
