Seriously, I am in L-O-V-E with this line at the moment and I certainly hope it stays this way. :crush:

I recenlty purchased the breakage defense shampoo and conditoner, as well as the replenishing mask and let me tell you it is working WONDERS!!! :magic:

For a while I've been spending gobs of money for anything to help my hair but didn't really find anything. :( I suffer from splits, crazy tangles, dryness, and stretchy strands all at the same time!!! So, I was switching between AO's honeysucklerose and GPB still not liking my hair. But after the first use of Pantene I'm in hair heaven. :cloud9:

The products have really brought out the blonde and the little sparklies in it. I feel like Rapunzel. Not to mention my ends are not feeling dry, and no more super stretchy strands. It is as if this line has put my hair in balance.

I'm not going to lie though, I certainly LOATHED Pantene for a while ever since they discontinued the original blonde expressions including the other expressions because those gave me and my family great results. The blonde worked fantastically on my hair, so much that my cousin would always ask me if I got highlights every time we ran into one another. It really made my grandma's gray hair shimmer like no other, and I also tried the red since I have a few red strands and I loved the strawberry blonde color it left me with. I really wish they would bring those original formulations back...

Also, I recently tried Pantene's medium-thick antibreakage stuff and I did not like it. The first use my hair looked awesome, but the next time around my hair was just terribly dry and felt very coated. The split end creme was ok, but I took that back too as well.

Sorry for the rambling, just wanted to share my GREAT experience with this line and hope that if others try it they like and have the same experience as well.

Maybe you just needed to use some cones again.

Thanks for that info. I always feel like shampoo does nothing to my hair, whether I use salon brands or dish soap. I use conditioner as a detangler predominantly, but I really like the oil applications. I have at least noticed some lasting improvement. I don't do a lot to my hair generally so it stays in pretty good condition. Its nice to hear of something that actually works tho.

May I ask what products you like from Pantene?

Maybe you just needed to use some cones again.

That could very well be the case and if so then I am definitely a cone head! :P

No problem, just wanted to share a positive review. But I know what you mean when you say it feels like some shampos do nothing whether it be a salon brand or not. I also use conditioner for detangling as I have really fine hair and gobs of it that just love to tangle. What oil do you use for your applications? I can never seem to get oil to work for me. Also, what improvement have you noticed with oiling? I also do not do a lot to my hair, I think it just gets splits because it's fine and I wear my hair down quite a bit.

My hair is very fine and likes cones once in a while. When that occurs (once a month) I turn to this stuff. It does work very well. I just can't use it all the time because build-up occurs quickly. But I do like it. :)

`It is very good. and as hair stylists we are told in school to sell sell sell. So we are told to say pantene is bad for your hair because we need to make a profit.`

I have very fine hair as well, but this really seems to be working. I'll be looking for signs of build-up though just in case. I hope that doesn't happen.

I'm glad it works very well for you though, and I must say your hair is GORGEOUS!

Thanks for sharing that stylist review. I must be honest though I stayed away from Pantene because it really freaked me out about people saying they were losing hair. But so far so good over here. Now I'm thinking of trying the split-end creme along with this line. I hope it works out.

I used to love Pantene till they changed it over here and it seemed to go all gluey and weird in my hair... I'd love it if one of their range would work for me again. What country are you in GabrielleRose? Not sure Beautiful Lengths is available in the UK?

No problem Racrane, I can only imagine how it will look when its much longer. Happy and beautiful growing to you!

I know what you mean! I am so sorry that their new stuff is going on "gluey and weird" on you. I am from the US, maybe you can check if it is available by going to the pantene website.

I tried a Pantene conditioner for the first time in my whole life a couple weeks ago, and I too fell in love with it :inlove: I was always afraid to try it because so many people said it was bad, but now I love it ^^'

Yay, we both love it lol!!! I was also afraid to try it due to people saying it was bad, but Pantene's commercials always suck me in and I just had to try it!

It sure is, and it is so AWESOME!!! Have you found products that work for you? The only possible thing for me that may be bad is I think the conditioner may have caused me to have a small breakout on my neck, if that is the case no worries because I absolutely love the replenishing mask and certainly wouldn't mind using that instead.

I just bought Pantene's Restore Beautiful Lengths Breakage Defense Shampoo last night and have used it once. I love it, too! When I run out of my HE Long Term Relationship Conditioner, I'm going to purchase the Breakage Defense Conditioner, too. I've been a Pantene-y for years and years until this new collection. I don't mind the products so much, but the fragrance kills me (I'm sensitive and get migraines easily). But the Beautiful Lengths collections don't carry the same fragrance as the rest of them. Yay for me!

I really like Pantene. I used it for decades, and it kept my waist-length hair in split-free condition.

Unfortunately, now I can't stand the fragrance. It's a deal breaker for me. :(

I'm glad you love it! I stopped using it because I wanted to go cone free, and recently when I've tried going back to it I started breaking out along my hairline. I can be very sensitive at times, but I really hope it continues to work out for you! I didn't like the other products due to the fragrance being so strong and my hair felt horrible. I agree though the Beautiful Lengths does;t carry that obnoxious scent, it actually smelled like peaches to me.

I can't stand the fragrance either! But wow to be split free at waist is AWESOME! I'm not evening at BSL and I always get splits. :( Have you found anything else that works for you?

I used to use Pantene for over a decade and it kept my hair very healthy and happy no matter what I did to it(and I tortured it! lol). It was past waist length but not quite hip, chemically processed, abused, etc. But it was shiny, healthy, and I had no splits or problems with dryness. Sigh...

I don't find the current formulations to be as good as the older formulations but I kinda like the Pantene Nature Fusion moisturizing line. The scent isn't like the other current formulation. It's clean and a little fruity. It also isn't as coating as the new formulation. For those that don't like the scent of the new formulation(I hate it too!) try the Nature Fusion. It's not the same.

I still miss the old formulation and scent though. :(

Congrats on finding something you love GabrielleRose! That's such a wonderful feeling. :)

Oh ok. I'm sorry that you can no longer be loyal to Pantene. I really hate the new formulations. I was loyal to Pantene when they had the original blonde expressions line. It worked great on my natural blonde hair. My hair was never dry nor did it have split ends, and it kept my natural color so radiant that even my family thought I was dying it.

I miss the old scent too as well as the old formulations. With the new ones my hair looks so stringy, feels like it is coated in plastic, and in general just does nothing for me.

I have yet to try the Nature Fusion line, because of the reviews on makeupalley seem so poor. Also, I've been no cone for months and every time I try coney products my hair just looks so dull!

Well i haven't found something I like just yet, but I am very anxious for my George Michael products to come in the mail. Hopefully it works out for me, because I'm going crazy trying to find something I truly love.

I used to go by makeupalley reviews. Once I realized that what everybody else loves, my hair seems to hate(and vice versa) I just started trying out different things to see what works for me.

The best I've tried for my hair so far is Aveda's Brilliant shampoo & conditioner though they get trashed on MUA!

Pantene in general also gets trashed but it worked GREAT for me for many years so I take a lot of the ratings with a grain of salt.

I hope your George Michael products work great for you! :) I always thought about trying them but haven't so far.

My hair is extremely picky, i have decided. It didn't like Pantene, redken, or biolage. The only Sls and cones it liked were Sebastian's drench line. Now I use abba and handmade condishes as build up likes my hair.

I just likes to see what some of the problems were with the product and things like that.

I'm glad the nature's Pantene is working for you. I honestly don't think it would work for me due to the cones since I've given them up for months and when I use them it just kills my shine.

As for my George Michael products they arrived today yay! I've only tried them once so far so we'll see how it progresses.

So far I've tried them 3 times and I'm a little on the fence at the moment.

For one the smell leaves much to be desired until it finally dries, but I am definitely sensitive to scents because at times I can smell the chemical undertones. The products smell strong like chemicals mixed with baby powder but once it completely dries it smells WONDERFUL, kind of like a perfume salon scent and not too strong. I also find that my hair seems to take longer to dry than before and I'm not sure whether that's a good or a bad thing? I really love how the products make my hair color more vibrant and not dull like many other products tend to do. Also it makes my hair look more full.

I guess you can say I'm 50/50 right about now, but will continue to use them to see if I get progress. But I seriously ADORE the combs and BBB. :D

Gabrielle Rose,

Thank you!
You don't look as though your hair is chemically treated... But anyway, were you advised by a GM person about which type to use? What results are you seeing? What are you hoping for from these products? Have you tried the treament yet?

I am on a big product research hunt for a good shampoo and conditioner for my fine, coloured, dry ended hair. I am very interested in these products. I know that Madora uses them to great effect. I will be visiting a GM salon in a few months too...

No problem!
My hair is not chemically treated now and hasn't been for a few years. I used to get black streaks put into my hair. I was not advised by a GM person on which products to use. I just picked the products from the availability on the enchantress website where I ordered them from, and felt that even though my hair is fine the blue formula might just dry my hair out. As for the results I'm seeing, it's not much. The static has been reduced though, my hair color looks pretty bright and that's about it... What I'm hoping from this product is to end my search of finding the "one" thing that actually works and that I truly love using. I have yet to try the treatment, and it says it should be used during the summer time or as a pre-treatment before swimming.

I hope you enjoy your future visit!
