In your experience, did using ACV (or any other vinegar) on your hair make it straighter? Mine is usually 1c/2a with CO, but for the last couple of months, I've been using ACV and my hair is back to 1b/1c, like it was when I used shampoo and cones (both straighten my hair). I'm not sure if it's the ACV or if my natural hair type is just not as wavy as it first was with CO... or if it's something else.

So did ACV straighten your hair? Or maybe make it curlier/wavier? :pumpkin:

I have fairly wavy/curly hair and I can't say that I have noticed any difference at all when I do vinegar rinses (I use plain white vinegar instead of ACV).

I have use ACV once so far. I will pay attention to this when I do it again. If it does make hair a little less wavy then it would help me to get my bangs to lay straighter. Even if it does I suspect effect is temporary unless you are doing it every wash.

I have been doing it almost every wash... simply because it feels nice on my scalp. :) Maybe I'll stop for a week and see what happens.

ACV didn't make my hair straighter, but being cone free and CO definitely does. On cones I am a solid 3b, without them I am more like a 3a/b mix.

Wow! I'm pretty sure that ditching cones is the main reason my hair isn't stick-straight anymore... I wonder if I'm the odd one or if you are? Or if it's an even mix? Hmmmm will have to investigate. :)

I am pretty sure I am the odd one. Every curly haired person I know says their got curlier after ditching cones. I don't know what's with my hair :p

I saw no straitening effects in my hair but my sister's got somewhat wavier after using ACV.

I've never noticed this. I ACV almost every wash (about 2 years worth). Maybe it just depends on the hair.
