After 2 years at LHC

When I joined in 2009 my goal was, of course, to grow it long but more importantly, to grow quality.

I look back at this picture and how much it tapered on the sides and came to a point at the end. It never seemed very long to me because just that little in the back was "long". I've mentioned how I've been trimming it for the last couple of years... In the shower, with conditioner in it, I stand under the water and let it run down so that the hair all comes to a point at the end where the water runs off. I reach back and pinch the point, bring it forward and cut off 2 or 3".

I just did a 4" trim of the thinner ends and this time I hope to get to Classic!

It has worked but on the other hand, it sure has been frustrating to not gain much length in two years. I just have to remember all the inches that I cut off to get here and that maybe in another year I'll be at the goal.

Thanks all. It's so encouraging here when most people don't understand or care how much time and effort it takes!

Forgot to say that when I cut it in the shower that I comb it out with conditioner in it so it's nice and smooth and then run the water over it to cut.
