So I am thinking about drying some limes to use to help make my Henna more purplish.
So my brother's question is why do I have to dry the limes and then boil them? Why not just use fresh lime slices and boil those?
He's been asking me for a few days, so I figured I'd come ask the lovely gurus here :)

I would be very interested in knowing this too, esp. since I didn't even know that limes could make it purplish.
(and by the way, your avatar, love it, love those books :D)

Thank you!! I love the books too!!!!
He's been asking me since I asked him his advice on drying the limes since he makes his own jerky on occasion.

Can you pointus to more info on "Limes making Henna more Purple"? Where did you get the idea? PURPLE is my favorite color!

This is the first place I saw it. (http://www.hennaforhair.com/mixes/raina/) But I've also heard mention of it on here. Perhaps in the make my hair more burgundy thread maybe?
