Just used Vampire Red from Manic Panic. And man, am I messy with dye. I think I'll ask someone else to do it next time.

Any hints on getting this off my skin?

It wears off in a day or two. I got a friend to do mine. :p

Yeah if it comes out like I hope, a day or two isn't a big deal. I've even accepted that I'll be getting it all over stuff.

I did pink in highschool from Manic Panic and it left stains anywhere my head touched hehe.

Ooh, yeah. This stuff bled pink all over my towels for a while. I have a new pink, white and brown bathing suit that used to be just white and brown.

Rubbing alcohol should take it right off (^(oo)^)v

Update on how it turned out.

First of all, this is why I don't pluck my white hairs. (actually they are just translucent). Free colored tinsel.

The last picture is probably just crappy lighting. But I wasn't expecting anything crazy. I'm sure it's going to look nice in sunlight. I'll post a pic tomorrow in the sun.

oooh, I really like how subtle it looks. It really tempts me to add a purple tint to my hair.

I just did my hair with the hot hot pink. Lol, it looks neat when it's backlit!

No harm in doing it I you use a gentle dye. I think manic panic isn't supposed to damage your hair, but not 100% sure.

Or try a gloss

To prevent getting color on your skin next time I know that some people put petroleum jelly on their hairline. It can be hard to remove though, so another option is to put conditioner along the hairline to prevent it as well.

Looks great! You and some other LHCers have inspired me! I'm going to get some Vampire Red to put in a temporary streak or two :D

ok I will post it here .... I think I'm to much of a clutz to get the colour right : I tried 2 days in a row and still some of my hair isn't the hot pink I wanted :(
How does everybody go about putting the colour in ? I ended up with a pink bathroom (and pink hands since I forgot to put gloves LOL) but only partly coloured hair (photo is in the 1 photo per month thread)
Every advice is welcome !

conditioner. Seriously, wash your hands with it, then wash them with shampoo.

It looks lovely! Did it damage your hair at all?
