Okay, this is me :confused::confused::confused:. I was thinking that draft would be a convenient way to work on my blog entry. I figured I could post some, then get interrupted by PPD, as usual, save as a draft, and resume it later. Now, I think I have the entry posted, but it still shows as a draft.

Could it be because you have your filter set to view all entires?

I've been busy playing with features and think I can answer that. Click on the word "comments" and a box for posting shows up. Not everybody has blog replies enabled so it won't always work. Also some people have comments moderated so it won't show up live.

Hmm. The blog I was trying to reply to was someone on my friends list, and she already had a comment to that entry, so I'm confused. There was no reply box.

Okay, this is me now :enlightened:. It does, in fact hold the entry as a draft. I could read it, and it looked as though it was part of my blog only because I was logged in. Once I logged out, I saw only my original entry. So, I logged back in, opened the draft copy, and down further on the page was the option to publish now, or publish on a specified date. Mystery solved, and thanks for the guesswork. I think we'll all be doing some sleuthing in the coming days. Fun, though, no?

ETA: Well, if I'd just checked out the helpful FAQ, all this could have been avoided.

We can publish on a specified date? I don't know exactly how I'll use that, but that is very cool. It's like programming your computer to send e-mail in the middle of the night so your boss thinks you're working late.

Is there any way to go to first unread blogpost, like in the old journals? I really, really miss that feature over on TBB and I have to admit I'm not very fond of how they line up with the newest entry first (perhaps there's a way to change that), it makes it more difficult to catch up when you've been gone for a while as an example. I'm very happy LHC is up but I have to admit not liking all features. Of course it's hard to teach and old dog new tricks :D

Me too aisling, I find the new blogs confusing. I used to search for my favorites by their title and now I can't (or don't know how yet?)

When I go to look at page two, searching for someone, it makes a new page full of entries instead of the beginning sentance and the persons name to be scrolled through.

Oh well, I can wait, see if things are still changing.

But I too am also an old dog ;).

Anyone know how to sort so the first blog comes up first (so you would see the latest blog all the way at the end and not all backwards)? This is driving me nuts.

Otherwise I'm becoming very very pleased with the new blogging additions, but a few things are alluding me.

Oh, does anyone know if we are going to be able to see how many people have looked at our blog or whatever like before? I liked that feature.
