OK I have been reading on here how much oil helps people and the ends of hair not be so dry. So I went looking for some coconut but couldnt find any where I went. I picked up some Argan Oil..So I need advice or opinions How do I start using it? When shoould I? and Will it absorb into my hands before enough gets in the hair... should I wear gloves? Help thks

I'm new here, but I've been using Argan oil for over a year, daily. I love it. It's the only thing that helped my ends not feel frizzy. I use about a nickel-sized amount on wet/damp hair. And only on the bottom 2/3 of my hair, or my scalp gets really greasy. My hair is way shorter than yours though (chin length). It spreads easily, so if I had hair your length, I'd start with a nickel/quarter sized amount and work it in. No gloves necessary. I haven't had any problems with it absorbing into my skin first. You can also use a little on dry hair if you need it, but since I wash my hair everyday, I just do it when it's wet.

Sorry for the rambly reply!!

I've been meaning to purchase argan oil, because coconut oil didn't do anything for my hair (it made them crunchy). I just want my ends to be softer and not as brittle, so I'll try anything. We get them in very small bottles here and they cost 8€, so I hope it'll be worth it? Let me know how it feels on your hair, ok? Thanks :)

I love argan oil! I use about 3 drops in wet hair and comb it through and let it air dry. Less frizz! I also use about 3 drops on my face as a lovely moisturizer. It's wonderful!

Hi!
I've have recently incorporated Argan oil into my daily skin and wet hair routines... Just as mentioned above, no need to use gloves :) After washing my hair, I put about a nickel/quarter size amount to the ends of my hair.

Enjoy!
