Can we have a thread of fairy tale and princess hair styles. I really want to see and perhaps attempt some.

Oh, I always love how little mermaid hairs looks in the water :o. But this isn't really much a style.

Here's a mermaid tail hair tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OX_gi-R2XIs) (basically, a ponytail/herringbone hybrid) that I saw a member post a couple of days ago. :)

Here's a waterfall braid tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yZgOOO-CNs), which I think is beautiful and totally like something from a fairytale.

I also really like how the crown braid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tjLWkfiHvE) looks, or Elizabethan taping (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqbAdvL8kME), which are both fairytalish.

Or you could do milkmaid braids, which I think are also super-cute.

There are also a ton of tutorials on how to make hair styles from Lord of the Rings (like this Arwen Helm's Deep braid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNiQgOonU0s)), which I think are pretty princess-like. :)

Hope that helps, and have fun learning new styles. :)

You're welcome. :flower:

There's also a Elven-inspired hairdos thread (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=54335&highlight=elven), which may have more photos, if that's what you're looking for. :)

Torrinpaige on youtube did a few of the "Game of Thrones" hairstyles, and so did Ladollyvita33
They look very princessy to me. Ladollyvita33 is also doing a princess series for halloween. Anything with intricate braidwork would look like a princess hair do to me but that's just my opinion.
