Wire Wig Brush

My ex (who once had lovely long hair that she chopped off! :() told me that one of the reasons her hair looked so nice was because she used a wire wig brush. This would seem to make sense as a wig requires a very gentle brush since it can't grow any new hair, but I thought I run it by you all before I invest.

Any thoughts/personal experience?
