Can I call this hip length?

I've been hesitant to say my hair is at hip because it wasn't quite where I considered the minimum for "hip" to be. I set a marker for myself at my back dimples, and my hair just recently reached them. I had to trim it slightly since my hair is growing unevenly, but it still seems to be just brushing the dimples.

A nice, solid hip length IMO would be somewhere between the top of my jeans and butt crack length (yes I know, such a crude marker!). I am not there yet, but I am closer to there than to waist, I think, so should I just label my length hip length?

It's difficult to tell without seeing where the hip bone is , but it looks longer than hip to me. It's really beautiful .

I think these pants are sitting a bit higher on my hips than my jeans. With jeans I don't think my hair brushes the top yet. But I guess I should call it hip, regardless.

I'm still at least 2" away from BCL and 4"+ from TBL. It will take a while, at my rate...
