I just wanted to share my hair joy! I was pleasantly surprised to discover just how much my hair has grown in the past few months! Here is a picture comparing my hair in December 2010 to September 2011:

Thanks so much to all my fellow LHC-ers for all your threads and posts. I love that this community is such a positive hair enfluence on me. I feel so encouraged on this forum, and I am looking forward to my hair getting even longer! :D

Thank you! I have definitely noticed an improvement in the condition of my hair, and several inches of growth. :)

My goodness, your hair grew a lot in 9 months. Looks like close to 12 inches. WOW! It's very pretty and thick and healthy looking. Just beautiful!

Wow, stunning! Your thickness has increased dramatically, and your hair has grown so much! Your wave pattern/colour is great as well, your hair reminds me a bit of my best friend's :p

Thanks y'all! I only trimmed a couple 1 inch sections in the front of my hair in July 2011 about 1 inch. Other than that I haven't trimmed or cut my hair since July 2010.

Thanks! :) I've just been following good LHC advice since I joined in 2009. I don't flat iron my hair regularly or pretty much EVER anymore (Oh, how I loathe thy evil ways flat iron! lol). I stopped bleaching my hair. I stretch washes, and only use shampoo on the scalp area, and I like to deep condition the length often. I treat my hair with care and protective updo's daily.

Sooo envious of you:) It looks great! I wish mine would grow that fast and be that lush and thick at the ends, but hey, at least I get to enjoy pretty pics on LHC like yours while I wait for my hair to catch up with my dreams:) Happy growing... it looks very pretty.
