What does Fenugreek smell like to you?

Have you used fenugreek seeds for your hair? What does it smell like to you?

Some say it smells like maple syrup; some says it smells like curry.

I used to take it in spoonfulls and tablet form... the powder smells like curry, especially when fried or added to other food... but when it came through my skin it would smell of maple syrup... I stopped using it after I realised that 'down there' started to smell like maple/curry too...

Do you guys like the smell or hate it? Do you think it's tolerable to smell on someone's hair?

I wish it was this pleasant..! But it's not a sweet, pleasant maple smell... it's rather savoury and sickly... if you try it you will understand what I mean ;)

I don't have a natural smell (that I am aware of) ... I guess having an odd odour follow me around and on my clothes and pillows was unusual and uncomfortable for me.. It took a week to clear out of my system and my clothes! :wethree:xXxx

It's an ingredient of indian curry so it does smell like curry :)
it's pungent and musky eaten alone it taste terrible

I've heard people say that it smells like vanilla, but to me it smells almost like maple syrup.

For me, it starts out smelling curry-like, then the maple syrup smell starts to get more intense until I want it to go away. It's rather buildup-y on my hair, so at least I don't have to smell it much.

maple syrup! I eat the sprouts and people tell me I smell like waffles lol. You only get the funk with it if you eat garlic or onions, I eat neither.

I smell a bit of the maple.

A bit of useless trivia: fenugreek is actually used to flavor pancake syrup to give it that "mapley" taste.

It smells like curry and maple syrup to me! It's a bit odd. I don't mind it, but it is a bit annoying if it follows you around!
