Today I went to the salon and asked for what I call a "micro trim" - just a small trim that will make my hear healthy but not too short. Below is a picture from yesterday on the left before the trim and then on the right today after the trim:

I wouldn't personally call that a micro trim, more of a regular trim... but I have to say it looks fab, very even and thick.

Looks like a regular trim to me too, but looks great, pretty.

I'd call that a regular trim, too--to me a micro trim is 1/4" or less--but it sure did thicken up your hemline, which I think is what you wanted, right? It looks gorgeous, and you'll get that lost length back in no time. Beautiful!

looks very pretty; its got the jojo seal of approval too *wit woo* :)

Looks like a micro trim to me hardly anything trimmed off. Both photos show her clothes in exact same position, it looks like less than 1/4" to me!

Wow! looks great! The trim really straightened up the ends without losing much length

Looks great, the hemline is so perfect. Good for you for making sure your hemline looks stellar, lots of people neglect it!

It looks great, and the ends look much thicker and nicer. However, I also agree with the others who said it looks like a bit more than a "micro trim" because if your bra is at the same point, it looks close to 1/2" to 1" off. (Not saying that to make you feel bad though, because it really does look great!).

Your hair looks extra healthy and happy in the after - though I would also classify as a normal trim (though its mainly opinions - I think most stylists I've met would agree with micro trim). Also, I love your hemline!

Very lovely!

This is making me think that I could use a micro-trim..just curious, how much did they charge you for it? I've been avoiding evening up my ends just because I'm afraid it'll cost as much as a haircut. I have a place nearby that I really love, but a haircut is around 60-70 dollars there. No way I'd want to pay that much for such a small trim, but I'm afraid of going anyplace else since I really trust them.
