Clubbing?
My hair's exactly as it is in my profile photo basically - I'm going clubbing tonight with my friends and I've never been clubbing before (I'm not a clubbing person, but it's my friend's birthday event), so I have no idea how I might do my hair? I'm petite and I have really thin hair that's really difficult to work with (curling it is extremely difficult and it never holds... and I have a LOT of flyaways, all the time) and I also don't have any hair products on hand (mousse, hairpsray)... so I was really looking for some really simple yet sexy styles that I could pull off really quickly, if anyone has any ideas? Thank you!!

I saw a video yesterday on youtube and it was a 4 strand bun and it looked really easy to do.

Wear your hair exactly as it is in your profile, maybe oil it to tame the flyaways. Trust me, you will be the center of attention with that hair.

I don't go clubbing either so I don't have any good advice other than I like your hair the way it is. Also, we have the same Finntroll shirt. :D

I would say if you are not planning to sit at the bar, get your hair up. It will probably be hot and sweaty and you don't want to deal with tangles. Hairspray-free styles are easier and less damaging, just get a lot of bobby pins.

Wear it up!! (Unless you plan on washing it the next day). Last time I went clubbing with a girl with really long hair, she wore it down, and people kept running their dirty fingers through it, and someone even bumped into her and spilt beer on it. It was pretty gross by the end of the night..
Plus, the dancing will make you sweat and it will stick to the back of your neck.
If you want to wear it down put it into two braids maybe, and then you have them over your shoulders and keep them in sight and away from whiskey + potato chip fingers?

That's a horror story that would have kept me from ever going if I would hear THAT before my first time going lol:D Fortunately it only happens once in a while.

pretty hair! a long side braid would look nice and you can go fancy with it with fishtail or a rope braid. so you can keep the braid in more to the front of your body to kinda "protect" it from people touching lol.

High ponytails are VERY sexy for clubs.
I like this one with the color extensions (http://www.teenvogue.com/beauty/feature/2008/02/headcase#slide=1).
This is a good one with waves (http://www.perfectlocks.com/blog/1-simple-secret-for-a-perfect-high-ponytail). (The look, not the fake hair...Colored fake hair is one thing...)

To be fair, it was mostly people that she KNEW and not total strangers who were touching her hair...

If you do want to wear it loose, don't worry too much - if it's only occasional, the tangles and beer and sweat, etc. are easily fixed by not touching it (especially not combing/detangling it) until you get in the shower and lather on about 3x as much conditioner as usual then detangle. It'll all come out that way.
If it is a regular event, I wouldn't wear my hair loose much. My friend stopped his once-a-week-or-more clubbing schedule for a couple of months and it was amazing how the thickness, length and general condition of his hair improved - and he has coarse, resilient hair. I'd hate to even imagine what would happen if I treated my fine hair that way.

I'm gonna go with the braid over the shoulder. I think it can be very sexy while still showing off your length. I don't co clubbing very often, but I do go. My hair gets sweaty and knotted and people are always pushing through people and on your hair. Plus stuff gets spilled on you AND your hair. I tend to wear my hair down when I go, but I can put it up in about 30 seconds without any pins or anything. When I get hot or annoyed by too many people bumping into to me it goes up, but it's not elegant or sexy, it's just a quick knot bun. If you want it to look good all night I'm thinking the braid is best. Let us know how it goes. :)

I always wear mine down when I go clubbing because I don't want any hair toys or buns poking into anyone's face when it gets too crowded. I usually just apply some serum on my hair to minimize frizz.
However your hair's a lot longer than mine! I'm not sure if I'll keep my hair down if it was classic length, but there are times I tie a half up ponytail when my iii hair starts getting too wild. I like the idea about a high ponytail suggested by an earlier poster! It helps eat up some length but I'd worry about it smacking someone in the face if you turn too quickly :p
