Bad news good news

The bad news is I have only 12" of truly virgin, never been heat-traumatized hair on my apl head.

The good news is that 12" is some awesome looking hair, smooth and shiny!

well, that 12 inches looking super healthy and shiney is a great start!!
I've about 1 inch on my shoulder length hair so what you have is something for me to aim for :)

That is great news in my opinion, congratulations. I have SHL and only about 4 inches virgin.

I'm only cutting and leaving virgin when the virgin is at least a solid bsl :D I cannot handle cutting short due to damage AGAIN.

I am trimming my damage steadily when I get to WL. I can't bear to cut my length just yet. But the virgin hair I do have is awesome. :) It keeps me going when I'm annoyed at my dry ends. :)
