My favorite way to wear my hair is milk maid braids (hooray for looking like you made an effort when you made none!)

I cut my BSL hair to chin in February, and in around June I started making these little runty braids and pinning them up, so the tassle sat right above my ear. Kind of a weird approximation of the milk maid braid.

This weekend I had a wedding and I thought I'd just do that again but lo and behold, the tassles now meet each other on top of my head!!! I haven't been measuring all summer, but I knew I'd had some growth.

All I can say is woohoo the braid is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:disco::disco::disco::disco:

Haha, I also discovered that my braids met on my head earlier this year when I put them up that way for a wedding. How funny is that! :)
