Long Hair Friendly Salons in Sacramento or Bay Area?

I need to get my hair trimmed. . . an inch or *maybe* 2" to get the ends thickened up. I moved from Birmingham, AL about 6 months ago, and away from a stylist I went to for 9 years and *trusted*.

So I'm looking for a long hair salon in Sacramento or the Bay Area. I live in Davis, CA, but for a long hair salon, I'm willing to drive up to 3 hours or so (maybe up to 5 hours for a George Michael salon). I've Googled it, but I mostly get weird ads &/or nonsense, and I figured LHCers were the best people to ask anyway. Any suggestions?
