I've heard that using henna on curly/wavy hair often takes out the curl from the hair. I really really want straight hair so I was hoping for this to be true. I am planning to do quite a few full henndigo applications to my black 2b/2c hair and was wondering if I can expect straighter hair from using henna?
Thank you!

Take a look in my henna album. I've curly/wavy all mixed up. I did lose a bit of curl afterward.. but most of it came back with time. It never went 'straight' though, just wavy-er.

It's made mine straighter, but nothing dramatic. It helps my weird mix of 2C/3A/3B look like more of a solid 2C when I let it dry naturally. I'm also now able to comb my hair out damp (yes I know - bad), twist it into a bun and have it dry in nice waves with only a little loose curl on the end (and no frizz!). It's enough that I've almost given up my straightener.
