My hair reaches to just past my bra band, so I suppose that's mid-back. But every time some of you post links to youtube videos and I rush to watch them, the person's hair is way longer than mine and I can't do the bun. Can some of you recommend some buns for hair not quite as long as what most of you have?

I could do all these from APL onwards.

Hey your welcome, i could just do that from APL it was my favourite bun because it makes you look like you have more hair than you do:)

How thick is your hair? If you have thicker hair you'll need more length for a given bun than with thinner hair. For instance, at your length I could manage the second bun bunzfan posted but none of the others.

If you do have thicker hair, you can sometimes manage a bun that your hair seems a little too short for if you do it higher on your head.

There it is! This is pretty much the only hairstick bun I can do at the moment (though I twirl it around a single finger rather than my hand) and I was looking for the tutorial recently to share it and couldn't for the life of me find it. Thanks!
