I braided my friend's hair a few weeks ago, and just now got around to uploading a few pictures. Here they are:

You can see I added hair to one side, then switched and added hair to the other side, and then vice-versa. She is very excited to be a part of the LHC~ although to protect her privacy I kept her face out of the pictures :)



Many of the ladies and girls where I live have noticed my different hairstyles and are starting to try them out! I love seeing these new ideas catch on. My friend from the pictures above created this beautiful hairstyle on her young cousin~ again, I left her face out but you can still see her lovely braids:

Fairlight~ we all use rainwater 99% of the time. (The other 1% is when it hasn't rained for a while and we have to use the well-water from the government water tanks.) So maybe it is the water (lol) :D

I tried the 4 corner braid on myself today and it was laughable!! the braid undulated down my head instead of being straight!! It reminded me of how lovely yours looked in the pics!! ... and now, you've posted more with that style. I think I'm going to have to practice a few times to get those lace braids straight!!! wish me luck.
