Guess what I did?!?!

I french braided my boyfriend's waist length dreads :) It looked pretty cool, but his dreads are "natural" and are all different in thickness and length so I couldn't get it braided too far down. After the french braid, I went back and dutch braided them, but he didn't like that one as much because it was "pulling funny." He really liked the french braid and is going to start letting me do it more because its a great way to keep them pulled back! Just wanted to share, hopefully I can get some pictures soon!!

He's got a lot of sprigs of new growth at the top of his head so i tried to stick those underneath but it was still a little fuzzy :P

its crazy isn't it??! his hair is sooo thick and before dreads it was some of the thickest hair I'd ever seen. i couldn't get the under layers in the braid, it got too thick so it was more of a half up-do :)

Wow that looks very cool! I Once did a rope braid on this guy, his dreads are classic length and natural. It looked so good on him and he really liked it! This is one of the biggest reasons why I from time to time contemplate getting dreads, because all kinds of braids would look so cool and they'd be easy to make....

I had dread extensions which is fun because you can take them out after a couple months! They were in pink, red, and white with a black base. Very fun! I don't think I'd dread my real hair though, even though it looks so cool I'd be tired of it in a few years and have to shave my head, haha!

You don't have to cut dreads to get them out, you can comb them out, but it takes lots and lots of time, and its not always gentile.
