I need help guys. I've got court Wednesday morning thanks to my ex. I'll be wearing a nice business suit. I've racked my brain trying to figure out how to wear my hair for such an occasion but the only hair style I can think of is the French twist which isn't easy to do on my hair because it's so thin. I need more ideas. Please help. Thank you.

I would think any style that is up, neat, tidy, and not flamboyant. :)

Maybe some kind of a plain bun either at your nape or at ear level with a non flashy hair toy. No wispies or face framing pieces.

Plain French braid, tucked the ends if you can.

Thank you SO much for this link - I can do this in a short period of time and it looks great! :bounce:

Now.. I need something nicer than a chopstick to hold it! :cheese:

I usually go with a figure 8 bun. If you like the chopstick look I've found chopsticks for $1-$2 a pair that are really pretty, with designs and colors to coordinate with different outfits. I think you could probably find them at an import store, or our health food stores often carry them.

Keep in mind, if you're in a court building, I'm not sure of the policies, but you may have to be cautious of metal detectors. I'd hate for you to get your hair all perfectly styled, then have to take it all back down because of a metal hair toy!

A simple cinnabun with pins instead of sticks is plain, neat and business-like.

Along the same lines as Airmide's comment, I wonder if the security guards would consider a pointy hairstick to be a weapon. :pins: Maybe there is a way you can find out ahead of time.
